Hurricane Relief Work Anyone Can Do

I've been hearing from Katrina victims, advocates, and others that many lenders have either stated that there will be no grace periods for mortgages, utilities, and other bills given for Katrina victims or have not affirmatively stated that they will offer them.

Please, as you deal with your own bills, contact those who might be billing Katrina victims to ask whether they have at least a 90-day grace period for them and, if not, why not.
