(Syracuse, New York) The American Civil Liberties Union filed a discrimination lawsuit Thursday on behalf of a Utica, New York couple kicked out of a health care center because the women are lesbians - even though one of them desperately needs the center's services.

Louise Bizzari suffers from severe osteoarthritis and other medical conditions and needs to use theCharles T. Sitrin Health Care Center’s pool to avoid losing her leg.
