...in rushing to condemn his appointment, liberals are ignoring the significant overlap between right-wing and left-wing critiques of the World Bank. The question of how to fix the Bank is one of those rare areas of political debate where reformers on the right and left agree on a lot; in fact, if you look at conservative proposals for the Bank, it's hard not to recognize the progressive overtones.
