Nat'l Guard STOPS Evacuation of Superdome - Hyatt "guests" go to the front of the line...

UPDATE: Just saw this from a comment in another blog:

In addition to the people at the Hyatt that were evacuated, people from the Ritz-Carlton were also evacuated. Tourists stranded at the Ritz-Carlton called into CNN and talked to Wolf Blitzer. The next day she called in again to tell Wolf they were back home in Maryland. Helicopters came in specifically to get them out (about 300 people). So it does seem that some people are given preferential treatment.

If this is TRUE - if this doesn't speak volumes, I do NOT know what does...

At one point Friday, the evacuation was interrupted briefly when school buses pulled up so some 700 guests and employees from the Hyatt Hotel could move to the head of the evacuation line — much to the amazement of those who had been crammed in the Superdome since last Sunday.

"How does this work? They (are) clean, they are dry, they get out ahead of us?" exclaimed Howard Blue, 22, who tried to get in their line. The National Guard blocked him as other guardsmen helped the well-dressed guests with their luggage.

The 700 had been trapped in the hotel, near the Superdome, but conditions were considerably cleaner, even without running water, than the unsanitary crush inside the dome. The Hyatt was severely damaged by the storm. Every pane of glass on the riverside wall was blown out.

Yes, the guests of the Hyatt, not in dire straits, were given buses and gotten out ahead of the dying masses in the Superdome.

Here is someone left behind: Sandra Jones of eastern New Orleans.

Her newborn baby was running a fever, and all the small children in her area had rashes, she said.

That baby is going to be stuck, along with over 2,000 others, in the cesspool until "at least" Sunday (that is MSM speak for "we don't know when in the f*ck they are going to be taken out of there")

The title of the article to which I refer??

Guardsmen Halt Evacuation at Superdome

Blacks and poor: move to the back of the line
by Chris in Paris - 9/03/2005 03:56:00 AM

The wealthy and the white get preferential treatment, including even luggage service, and are bumped to the front of the line to be evacuated out of NOLA. The Old South rises again.

So tell me again Condi, that race has nothing to do with this response.
Ah, what a government - I guess they figure these bodies aren't healthy enough now to recruit for the world domination war plan...so f*ck 'em.

Enjoy your holiday weekend, folks...(said with all the snark I can muster.)
