65 percent of minorities say racism factored in
64 percent of whites don't think so
Race is certainly factoring in to something.
Race and class are inextricable in this case.
The good news is that white people don't think racism is okay, which is why we're in denial of it being a part of this. After all, good people take active steps to correct what they think is wrong and white America is not ready to give up power and wealth necessary to ensure racial equality. We're on the horns of a moral dilemma and don't seem to have the courage it takes to solve that.
