Unbelievable

It looks like the IRS is owned by the gwb regime, too!

Antiwar Sermon Brings IRS Warning
All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena risks losing its tax-exempt status because of a former rector's remarks in 2004.

By Patricia Ward Biederman and Jason Felch, Times Staff Writers

The Internal Revenue Service has warned one of Southern California's largest and most liberal churches that it is at risk of losing its tax-exempt status because of an antiwar sermon two days before the 2004 presidential election.

How can this be? How is it that the gwb crowd got the church directories of fundamentalist churches to use to influence voters, and they're lock-step with the ultra-right-wing religious groups and NEVER does the IRS say one word to those groups about their blatant use of the pulpits or the religious radio shows and mailing lists to promote the gwb regime.

The current regime has no shame and no guilt. They only exhibit a sense of entitlement to their 'ruling class' role. And, they bow to the influence of the religious groups who support them.

What other conclusion could there be but that the IRS is in the pocket of the gwb regime?

How very sad for our country.

[Update: It looks like JL isn't the only place this story is being talked about!]
